Browser Version Requirements

Whichever browser version you use must support 128-bit encryption (also called "strong" or "domestic" or "U.S." encryption). The 128-bit version of a web browser gives you the highest level of protection possible whenever you use our online application over the Internet. To check the encryption strength of your browser, follow these instructions:

Internet Explorer
• From the menu bar choose "Help" then choose "About Internet Explorer."
• Look for the cipher strength information.
• If the cipher strength is 40-bit, you will need to upgrade your browser.

Netscape Navigator
• From the menu bar choose "Help" then choose "About Navigator."
• Within the encryption information you should see the line "This version supports U.S. encryption."
• If the line reads "This version supports International encryption," you will need to upgrade your browser.
